I like pets. We’ve got two cats and a dog. My wife can’t stand getting up early in the morning, so I take the dog for a walk every day. I don’t mind that.
My wife comes from a small village in the country. Her parents live on a large farm and they have a lot of animals: cows, pigs, chickens … I can’t stand hunting. I can’t understand how somebody can kill an animal! My wife’s father is a hunter, but he says he never kills animals – he only watches them. I don’t believe him.
In my free time I like listening to CDs. I like all kinds of pop and rock music. Right now I like listening to indie music. My wife prefers jazz. I don’t mind that classical jazz – Ella Fitzgerald, for example – but I don’t like free jazz. I simply don’t understand it! My wife loves it! She collects jazz CDs.
I like doing all kinds of sports – tennis, basketball and skiing in winter. Cycling, for example, is very good for your health. Also, swimming is a good way to relax after a long day at the office.
We sometimes go to see a film at the cinema, but I prefer staying at home and watching a film on TV. I don’t like playing games. I’m bad at losing. My wife loves going to parties. She says it’s a lot of fun. She likes dancing and talking to people.
At work I always have to wear a suit. I can’t stand that because I love T-shirts, jeans and trainers. You feel so free in them! I have a lot of “talking” T-shirts. The one I like best says, “A better world is possible”. At home I always wear a tracksuit because it’s comfortable.
